Well, she was already a force to be reckoned with; I think in her case she just lost the control that had been keeping her from going supernova for years.

There were some interesting theories floating around that going crazy made Azula exponentially sexier, however. I believe I even saw a graph on the subject somewhere.

There was this one bizarre episode where Zuko meets her at night and she talks to him with her hair down and in her sleeping robe. And she seemed to be almost "putting the moves" on him.

That was disturbing there.

and I loved that whole scene though too, it was both awesome and hilarious!
of coarse, the whole time I was like
HELLO! Azula's nuts!
GET KATARA OUT OF THE WAY!
and then they started drawing her in the background, and I was like
"okay. now we're doomed."
